Pinned Annotations

Every finding is pinned to the exact pixel location on the page — AI-generated or added manually by your team.

Pinned Annotations

Every finding in a Revanote review is attached to a specific location on the page. You see exactly where the problem is, not a vague written description disconnected from the visual.

How annotations work

Annotations use percentage-based x/y coordinates relative to the full-page screenshot. They stay precisely positioned at any zoom level and on any screen size. An annotation on the hero button stays on the hero button whether you’re reviewing on a 13-inch laptop or a 27-inch monitor.

Two types of annotations

AI-generated findings

  • Automatically created when you run an AI review
  • Categorized: Design, Accessibility, SEO, Content
  • Severity levels: Info, Warning, Critical
  • Include an explanation and suggested fix

Manual annotations

  • Added by clicking anywhere on the page screenshot
  • Support text and file attachments
  • Perfect for design feedback, client requests, or implementation notes

Filtering and focus

Filter annotations by type (AI vs. human), category, and severity. Focus on critical issues first, then work through warnings.

Sharing

Annotated reviews are shareable via link. Clients can view all findings without needing a Revanote account.
